Ok tumblr/internet, I come to you for help. As you may know, I am putting together a studio here in Tallahassee. I am getting grants to pay for the renovations that I am doing, however, the whole ‘getting a grant for a few thousand dollars’ process is taking longer than I can wait to get everything done, so I am coming out of my own pocket to make all this happen. So far I’m out about $1,000 just on paint and basic supplies. YIPES.

So, due to this, I have been running ideas through my head of ways to generate some cash to hold me over until this grant process is finalized.

Here is what I came up with:

EVERY photo that I have posted is up for grabs (excluding Bailey/Grey, no family portraits, basically nothing super personal). If you want a photo of my goofy face, I will allow you to purchase that as well (that’s for you Codi).

A small list of bands you’ll be able to choose from are: Go Radio, We are the in crowd, Every Avenue, Mayday Parade, Motionless in White, Yellowcard, For the Fallen Dreams, Radiohead, Young the Giant, In Flames, Method Man, Bayside, Tom Gabel, Chuck Ragan, The Where’s the Band? tour, etc, etc.

I do not want to put a definite price on the images, so I am going to offer them up as a ‘pay what you want’ kind of situation. However, since I am looking to generate cash from this, there will be a $10 minimum. If $10 is all a photo is worth for you/all you can afford that’s fine. If the photo is worth $100 to you and you want to go that route, obviously that’s ok as well.

Also, I will be emailing the HiRes versions of the photos to you, as opposed to sending an actual physical print, which leaves you the option to print a bunch of wallet sized photos or print a massive 24x36 poster of the photo… or a combination of things. It’s all up to you. With each order though, I will be mailing a personal ‘Thank You’ note which will consist of an assortment of bad drawings, terrible handwriting, and my signature that looks like a 3 year old spazzed out on a piece of paper.

If this is something you want to help me out with, send me whatever amount you want ($10 minimum) using the GIFT option on Paypal to Matt@MattBurkePhoto.com. In the ‘message’ box, tell me (in as much detail as you want) which photo or photos you want and I will email it over to you (put your mailing address as well if you’d like to receive a thank you card!). Also, once I get up and running and back on my feet, I hope to be able to hook you all up with physical prints of some sort.
